2027 Toyota GR Corolla Specs and Pricing Revealed

Toyota has unveiled the specifications and pricing for the 2027 GR Corolla, with the performance hatchback set to begin arriving at dealerships this summer. The updated model will carry a starting Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $37,895 for the base Core grade. This represents a modest increase from the outgoing model's pricing.

The 2027 GR Corolla retains its potent 1.6-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine, which continues to produce 300 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. This power is channeled through a standard six-speed intelligent manual transmission (iMT) with rev-matching technology, and Toyota's GR-FOUR all-wheel-drive system. The GR-FOUR system offers drivers adjustable front-to-rear torque bias settings of 60:40, 50:50, and 30:70.

New for 2027 is a revised infotainment system, featuring a larger 8-inch touchscreen display. This system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, enhancing connectivity for drivers. Additionally, two new exterior paint colors have been introduced: Sonic Grey and Deep Ocean Blue. The Circuit Edition, which was previously a limited-production model, will now be available as a permanent fixture in the GR Corolla lineup, priced at $42,095. The Circuit Edition includes features like a forged carbon fiber roof, aluminum sport pedals, and a JBL premium audio system.

Safety and driver-assistance features remain a strong point, with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 standard across all GR Corolla trims. This suite includes Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert, and Automatic High Beams. Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert is also included. The GR Corolla's performance-oriented chassis, featuring a wider front and rear track, independent MacPherson strut front suspension, and a double wishbone multi-link rear suspension, is carried over to the 2027 model year.
