2026 Toyota bZ

Toyota released the 2026 bZ electric vehicle lineup this week, featuring updated specifications and pricing. The bZ4X, a key model in the series, will see a starting MSRP of $44,000 for the XLE trim, a slight increase from the previous model year. Toyota aims to enhance the bZ lineup's competitiveness by offering improved battery range, with the XLE trim now projected to achieve an EPA-estimated 270 miles on a single charge, up from 252 miles. Higher trims, such as the Limited, will also receive powertrain optimizations, potentially boosting their range by approximately 15 miles. The interior of the 2026 bZ models will incorporate a new infotainment system with a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen as standard across all trims, replacing the previous 8-inch and 11-inch options. Safety features have also been bolstered, with Toyota's Safety Sense 3.0 suite now including enhanced pedestrian detection and adaptive cruise control capabilities. Toyota has also announced a new charging solution, the "bZ Charge+," a home charging unit that will be available for purchase or lease starting in Q3 2025, offering up to 11.5 kW charging speeds. The company stated that these updates are part of its broader strategy to expand its electric vehicle offerings and meet growing consumer demand for sustainable transportation options. Pricing for the bZ5X, a larger SUV model expected to join the lineup in late 2026, has not yet been disclosed but is anticipated to be positioned above the bZ4X.
